An Award on Indian Folk:- As India is a land of cultural diversities. Every region in India has its own form of folk music. rich tradition of folk music is very much alive across the country. The Indian film music Directors have always experimented traditional folk with new things to cater to the changing tastes of music lovers. Various super duper hit film songs has echoed in society and all related person have earned so much name & fame but the ARTISTS of original folk are absolutely forgotten. It is the endeavour of ITRPC, to create new dimension of tourism & protect Indian art culture & folk, Now, ITRPC is working to initiate an Award on Indian Folk. Recipient of this award will be amongst those original folk ARTISTS who’s talent is not yet recognised & glorified and to the honour of these forgotten living legends of Indian Folk, first ever award on Indian folk music is scheduled at
“Ashoka Hall” of Ashoka Hotel,
New Delhi by the end of year 2011 or beginning of year 2012, jointly with Indian Tourism Development Corporation. |
